Next week the first edition of the South American Rally Race will be launched, which will travel demanding roads of the rally raid between February 7 and 14. So far there are more than 150 registered crews and, among them, will be Bruno Jacomy.

The 31-year-old navigator will have his fourth UTV experience ahead of him, although he knows that this challenge will not be the same as the previous ones taking into account the toughness of the roads and the days of the race. He will compete in the T3 category and will guide Gonzalo Virro from Mar del Plata in the unit that MDP Pro Racing enlists with the assistance of the renowned Daniel Mazzuco.

“It will be a great challenge, the longest and most difficult race that we will do with Gonzalo. It will be the fourth time that we will face a competition together and that knowledge is important when accelerating”, he explained. And he added: “We have high expectations, everything is different from what we have played and we will seek the best possible result. It is a race that has a high level and is very good for the country.”

Bruno was with the Yamaha team on the Dakar in Arabia and is an important part of Franco Caimi’s career considering that he is his assistant as well as a friend. He has shared the route with the motorcyclist for years and that will be another advantage in his favor when facing this type of competition.
